ABOUT SCHERMISIA DIONA

Schermisia Diona is the founder of VPSSIE — a visionary house dedicated to helping leaders, creatives, and organizations align vision with actionable strategy. Her journey began nearly two decades ago building community and driving impact through leadership roles at the University of Colorado Boulder. Since then, her work has expanded across development, primary investment, and foundation building — transforming fragmented ideas into cohesive, purpose-driven ecosystems.

With experience spanning business development, creative production, strategic planning, and community building, Schermisia has consulted with nonprofits, businesses, startups, and cultural organizations across disciplines. Whether guiding individual creators or advising CEOs and leadership teams, her work centers on helping visionaries build with clarity, sustainability, and long-term intention.

Schermisia’s work focuses on helping leaders, founders, and organizations reposition authority, capacity, and systems so growth doesn’t come at the cost of burnout, fragmentation, or culture breakdown. VPSSIE was created to bridge vision with execution — without sacrificing the human being behind the leadership.

Through Move Ma Speaks, Schermisia explores the embodied side of leadership — voice, presence, and creative authority — as a complement to the strategic architecture of VPSSIE. A writer at heart, she is the author of multiple works and has supported the development and publication of select books and manuscripts, using language as a tool for clarity, leadership, and transformation.

Earlier in her career, Schermisia led the development and launch of a 6,400-square-foot film and production facility before the age of 30, building infrastructure, teams, programming, and culture from the ground up. That experience became a formative blueprint for how she approaches vision, scale, and sustainability today.
​
Since then, she has helped establish nonprofit and creative production houses, advised founders and leaders across the country, and supported ventures ranging from cultural spaces and studios to mission-driven organizations — always with a focus on structure, tone, and long-term viability.

Through VPSSIE, Schermisia has led projects for organizations including The Potter’s House, T.D. Jakes Enterprises, Curls Beauty Brands, The Children's Cancer Fund and Catholic Charities Fort Worth, and supported audiences ranging from multi-thousand-attendee conferences to leadership teams navigating growth and transition. VPSSIE operates alongside a trusted advisory circle, brought in as needed to support engagements with depth, discretion, and alignment.
